A Ventura County man has been arrested and charged with fatally capturing his sister, the county sheriff’s workplace stated.
Deputies arrested Brennan Put up, 33, after responding to a name for an assault with a lethal weapon at a house within the Thousand Oaks space about 1:12 a.m. Friday and discovering Put up’s sister, 25-year-old Cassidy Snow, fatally wounded, the sheriff’s workplace stated.
Deputies spoke with Put up and different relations who stay on the house, and have been informed Put up had shot his sister, the sheriff’s workplace stated. Deputies executed a search warrant on the house and recovered a firearm, the workplace stated. Medical personnel declared Snow useless on the scene.
Put up was being held on $2-million bail and is scheduled to be arraigned subsequent week.
The sheriff’s workplace didn't present an alleged motive for the capturing. No different suspects are believed to have been concerned, the sheriff’s workplace stated.
