Diners ran for his or her lives after a sparkler in a drink brought on an enormous fireplace at a restaurant in Birmingham.
Restaurant-goers on the Caffe de Milano in Hurst Road have been evacuated after the fireplace began at round 11pm.
Video footage exhibits large flames engulfing the restaurant as one member of employees tries to throw a small bucket of water to dampen down the blaze.
Emergency providers have been known as to the scene at round 11pm final evening, however when firefighters arrived employees had already put out the flames.
There have been no accidents, however the dramatic scenes left diners terrified, it was reported.
A West Midland Hearth and Rescue spokesperson informed Metro.co.uk: ‘We have been known as at 23.03pm final evening and despatched two crews from Highgate.
‘After they received to the scene the fireplace had been extinguished by the employees.
‘The reason for the fireplace was believed to be unintentional, and had been began by a sparkler in a drink.
‘The fireplace then unfold to wall decorations. Hearth crews attended and the fireplace had been put out on arrival at round 23.28pm.’
