The US army has shot down the Chinese language spy balloon that has floated throughout North America for the previous week.
Fox Information video confirmed the deflated white balloon dropping down into the Atlantic Ocean, 10 miles beneath, shortly after the craft cleared the South Carolina coast close to Myrtle Seaside Saturday afternoon.
The FAA has closed the encompassing airspace till 3:30 pm.
