LONDON (Reuters) - British police on Thursday mentioned a 27-year-old man has been charged with terrorism and different offences after he was discovered final week with a suspicious system within the grounds of a hospital in Leeds, in northern England.
Mohammed Farooq from Leeds was charged with preparation of a terrorist act and possession of an explosive substance and an imitation firearm, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) mentioned.
Farooq, who was arrested final week, will seem at Westminster Magistrates' Courtroom on Friday, the CPS added.
Emergency providers had been referred to as final Friday to St James's Hospital in Leeds after a suspicious bundle was discovered outdoors the maternity wing. Some folks had been evacuated from the realm.
