Images: Newest storm brings blanket of snow to Grapevine

The atmosphereic river storms that pummeled Southern California earlier this month didn’t go away a variety of snow alongside the Grapevine

Monday’s newest storm modified all that.

With snow forecast to fall at elevations as little as 2,500 ft, the storm introduced winter driving circumstances to the Grapevine early Monday, and the California Freeway Patrol was escorting site visitors via the Tejon Move earlier than circumstances improved.

Meteorologists warned commuters to drive cautiously alongside mountain roadways together with the 5 Freeway close to the Tejon Move, the 14 Freeway close to Acton and Freeway 33 north of Ojai.
