Like most gacha games, Genshin Impact uses a daily check-in system to encourage users to play every day. Here's how Genshin Impact's daily check-in gimmick works, and how to claim your rewards.
Genshin Impact's daily check-in gives free money, EXP, and more
Every day, you can log into your Mihoyo account online to earn free rewards in Genshin Impact. You'll earn the rewards in a set order, and they get slightly better the farther through the month you go.
At the start of every month, the rewards ladder resets, sending you back to Day One. Although you need to log in every day to earn all the month's rewards, missing a day won't break the cycle — the next time you log in, you'll just continue from whichever day you left off on.
The rewards are usually the same every month, and repeat in a specific order each week. It usually goes:
- Day One: Adventurer's Experience (gives any character 5,000 EXP)
- Day Two: Fine Enhancement Ore (gives 2,000 Weapon EXP)
- Day Three: Mora (in-game currency)
- Day Four: Primogems (premium currency used to make Wishes)
- Day Five: Food (boosts stats and restores health)
- Day Six: Adventurer's Experience
- Day Seven: Mora

If you log in every day, by the end of an average month, you should earn 26 Adventurer's Experience, 16 Fine Enhancement Ore, 60 Primogems, twelve food items, and 62,000 Mora.
The first time you ever claim a daily reward, you'll also earn an extra 100 Primogems and 10,000 Mora right away.
How to claim your daily Genshin Impact check-in rewards
Unlike most of Genshin's features, you can't actually find the daily check-in inside of the game. Instead, you'll need to log into your HoYoLAB account.
1. Head to the HoYoLAB website and log into your account, if you haven't already.
2. Once you're logged in, go to the Daily Check-In calendar and click the day you're currently on.
Once you click the daily reward, a pop-up will appear confirming that you've claimed your daily reward.
The next time you open Genshin Impact, you'll find your daily reward in the Mailbox menu.
