The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals will meet in Super Bowl LVI on February 13. NBC and Peacock are broadcasting the Super Bowl live from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Coverage of the game starts at 6 p.m. ET with the national anthem, team introductions, and the coin toss; kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET. Before the game itself, fans can tune into pregame coverage at 12 p.m. ET. The halftime show is set to begin at around 8 p.m. ET.
The Rams and Bengals were both the fourth seed in their respective conferences entering the playoffs. This is the first time that two teams seeded below the top three have made it to the Super Bowl.
How to watch the Super Bowl without cable
If you don't have access to NBC on cable, you can watch Super Bowl LVI live on Peacock Premium, NBC's streaming service.
Though Peacock does offer a free plan, Peacock Premium ($5 a month) is required to stream the Super Bowl and other live sports, like the 2022 Winter Olympics.
NBC is also available as a channel on many live TV streaming services, including Sling TV, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, and Youtube TV. These services range in price from $35 to $70 a month, and include many networks you'd find on cable.
If you already have access to NBC through a pay-TV provider, you can also use your account info to stream the game from the NBC Sports app or the NBC Sports website.
Can you watch the Super Bowl for free?
If you don't mind streaming the game on a small screen, you can watch the Super Bowl for free on the NFL mobile or Yahoo Sports apps. These apps do not require a pay-TV account, but they're only available on Android and iOS phones and tablets.
You can also watch the Super Bowl for free on your TV if you have a digital TV antenna. NBC is a free broadcast station via over-the-air TV, but reception availability will vary depending on your area.

Who's playing in the Super Bowl
After the longest NFL season ever, the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals have reached the Super Bowl.
The Bengals were an underdog throughout the season, led by young star quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase. Burrow and Chase won the college football national title together while playing for LSU in 2020. Burrow led the Bengals to an upset over the Kansas City Chiefs that prevented the Chiefs from reaching their third straight Super Bowl.
The Rams traded for quarterback Matt Stafford before the season and filled out their roster with star signings like Von Miller, a former Super Bowl MVP linebacker, and Odell Beckham Jr., a dazzling wide receiver. The Rams overcame their division rival, the San Francisco 49ers, to reach the Super Bowl after losing to the 49ers six straight times in the last three seasons.
Who's performing in the Super Bowl halftime show?
The Super Bowl LVI halftime show features five headlining artists, including Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige.
Kendrick, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg join the performance in Los Angeles as Southern California natives, and Snoop Dogg told the Associated Press that doing the halftime show in his home state is "a dream come true."
Where is the Super Bowl being played?
Super Bowl LVI is being played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The Los Angeles Rams will become the second team to host the Super Bowl in their home stadium.
Los Angeles was originally picked to host Super Bowl LV, but because SoFi Stadium's opening was delayed to 2020, the stadium was chosen to host Super Bowl LVI instead.
The Rams were based in Los Angeles from 1946 to 1994 before moving to St. Louis, Missouri, for two decades. The team officially returned to Los Angeles and began construction on SoFi in 2016. SoFi Stadium is also home to the Los Angeles Chargers, who relocated from San Diego in 2017.
