As part of its Black Friday 2021 sale, Hulu is offering a fantastic deal for new subscribers. The limited-time discount brings the ad-supported Hulu price down to just $1 a month for an entire year. That comes out to $12 for 12 months of service.
Hulu with ads regularly costs $7 a month, so this Black Friday deal saves you $6 each month for a total savings of $72 across your discounted year. The 85% discount is available now through November 29.
Hulu is known for its vast catalog of TV shows, movies, and originals, offering members access to a huge library of entertainment options.
Hulu's Black Friday 2021 deal
New and eligible returning Hulu members can lock in an ad-supported Hulu Basic subscription for an entire year at a discounted rate of only $1 a month. After the one-year promotional period ends, your Hulu subscription will automatically renew for $7 a month until canceled.
This Hulu Black Friday deal saves you $6 a month on the streaming service. This deal is especially great for viewers who don't mind watching ad-supported entertainment. Note that this deal isn't for the plan with no ads or with live TV.
Only new and returning subscribers are eligible for the Hulu deal. Anyone who currently has Hulu or had an active membership within the last month is not eligible. The deal is available from now until 11:59 p.m. PT on November 29.
What's included in the Hulu deal?
The deal gives you ad-supported access to Hulu's entire catalog of on-demand streaming shows and movies. Members can watch original series like "Nine Perfect Strangers" and network TV shows like "This is Us," alongside popular movies like "Nomadland" and "The Boss Baby: Family Business."
The deal is not available for the ad-free version of Hulu, however, and it can't be combined with the Disney Plus bundle.
How much is Hulu?
Normally, a Hulu Basic subscription (ad-supported) costs $7 a month, so you'll save $6 a month, or $72 in total for the year. Hulu's Premium subscription (ad-free) costs $13 a month, and this plan is not part of the deal.
Viewers who are looking for more entertainment options should also consider the Disney bundle. The bundle combines subscriptions to Hulu Basic, Disney Plus and ESPN+ for $14 a month, which is an $8 discount. Unfortunately, you can't combine Hulu's Black Friday deal with the bundle.
