"Matrix" star Keanu Reeves brought his mother, costume designer Patricia Taylor, to the 2020 Oscars as his date, and fans of the actor were loving the moment. 

Reeves, who will star in the upcoming fourth "Matrix" movie, is presenting at this year's ceremony. And even though the "John Wick" actor and internet darling wasn't nominated for any awards this year, fans on Twitter were still heaping praise on Reeves for his adorable choice of date. 

Others focused their praise on Reeves' mother herself, who wore a stunning white tuxedo to the event.  

This isn't the first time Reeves' choice of date has caused a bit of a stir on social media. After the actor held hands with artist Alexandra Grant at an event in November, fans went wild and speculated that Reeves and Grant were in a relationship together.
