Zion Williamson proved his worth in his NBA debut Wednesday night, but he managed to do so without employing his most famous skill.
The 6-foot-6, 285-pounder finished his first game as a New Orleans Pelican with 22 points and seven rebounds — but without a single dunk.
But in his second game two days later, the 19-year-old wasted no time getting back to his old ways.
Just 40 seconds into Friday's matchup against the Denver Nuggets, Williamson soared to the rim for a monster alley-oop, courtesy of a lob from Jrue Holiday.
Through the first half, Williamson notched nine points on 4-of-5 shooting from the floor as New Orleans trailed the Nuggets by six.
