An ugly brawl broke out after the buzzer between Kansas and Kansas State on Tuesday and spilled into the stands.
The incident began in the final seconds of the game, when Kansas State's DaJuan Gordon stole the ball, with Kansas State down 81-60. Two Kansas players chased him down, and Jayhawks big man Silvio De Sousa blocked the shot, then stood over Gordon.
What began as some pushing and shoving near the baseline then spilled into the stands, with players throwing punches, knocking over chairs, and running into fans.
The fight was broken up in about 30 seconds, but was nonetheless severe and will have major ramifications.

De Sousa will likely face severe punishments for grabbing a stool in what appeared to be an attempt to hit someone. A person nearby took it out of his hands before anything happened.
Kansas head coach Bill Self called the incident an "embarrassment" and said punishments will be announced on Wednesday.
