A striking video posted on social media shows a wall of fire burning in the canyons of Southern California.
The Tick Fire in Santa Clarita, which began on Thursday, is one of the many wildfires currently burning across California.
The video, captured by reporter Caleb Lunetta for SignalSCV, shows the fire raging behind houses. Smoke is seen engulfing the Mint Canyon neighborhood of Canyon County, located in Los Angeles County.

"There are dozens and dozens of families on this block here ... being told to evacuate," Lunetta said in the video. "Within ten minutes [the fire] came over the top of the hill and basically forced these people out of their homes."
Around 50,000 have been evacuated due to this fire, according to the LA Times, as extreme winds, known as the Santa Ana winds, fanned the flames.
More than 500 firefighters have been deployed to battle the Tick Fire, the largest currently burning in the Los Angeles area.
The Tick fire has burned 3,950 acres as of 9:00 p.m. local time, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said, and it is 5% contained.
In northern California's Sonoma County, another fire referred to as the Kincade Fire has engulfed 16,000 acres as of Thursday evening, according to Cal Fire. Around 1,300 firefighters have been deployed to battle the fire in Sonoma County, known as the country's wine-producing region.
